Maria Bogdan

(b. 01/14/1989)

Maria Bogdan was born in the village of Yuzhno-Morskaya, Primorsky Krai (now a microdistrict of the city of Nakhodka). Graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University named after I.N. Ulyanov.
He has been writing poetry since the age of 16. In 2016 she took part in the Literary Forum. N. S. Gumilyova "The Illuminated Word". In 2018, she took part in the All-Russian meeting of young writers of the SPR (Khimki), the All-Russian creative forum "Tavrida" (Crimea) and the All-Russian meeting of young writers "In the homeland of Goncharov" (Ulyanovsk), following which she was admitted to the Writers' Union of Russia.
Author of the poetry collection "Stars in the palm of your hand" (2017). Published in magazines and collective collections: "Ulyanovsk Literature", "New Crown", "Biysk Bulletin", "Kolchugin Autumn", "Poems in a Circle", "Goncharov's Pavilion", "Simbirsk", "Spindle" and others.
Laureate of the Interregional Poetry Prize. N.N. Blagov (2018). She was awarded a Letter of Appreciation and a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Art and Cultural Policy of the Ulyanovsk Region, a Letter of Appreciation from the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region.
M. Yu. Bogdan has been a member of the Writers' Union of Russia since 2018. He is the head of the section "Poetry" of the Council of young writers of the Ulyanovsk region. Active participant of literary platforms.
