On April 18-22, the All-Russian Literary Workshop was held in Moscow on the basis of the Rostov House
26.04.2022

The participants were the finalists of the competition “The World of Literature. New Generation”, organized by the Association of Unions of Writers and Publishers with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
The Ulyanovsk region was represented at the workshop by three participants: Tatyana Filatova (Ulyanovsk), Anastasia Anisimova (Karsun), Vladimir Artamonov (Tver).
For young writers, creative meetings were held with famous people at the Central House of Writers: a master class by Karen Shakhnazarov, Dmitry Vodennikov, round tables "Young author and the modern literary process: problems and ways to solve them", a round table with representatives of publishing houses, a round table with editors thick magazines.

For the participants, the texts provided for the workshop were analyzed in the tradition of the Literary Institute. The texts of Ulyanovsk authors were discussed by well-known Russian writers: Alexey Varlamov, Vladislav Otroshenko, Svetlana Vasilenko, German Sadulaev, Evgeny Popov.
“The All-Russian Literary Workshop is an important event for a young author. We have a new opportunity to personally work with masters of this level, to learn their opinion about our works. The Association and Sergey Shargunov are doing a great job for the development of the literary process. It was very nice to meet guys from the Ulyanovsk region and get acquainted with young writers from different parts of Russia: prose writers, poets and critics. We are not lost and continued to communicate in social networks, send texts to each other, because finding “ours” is very important for personal creative development,” Tatyana Filatova comments.

“Participants heard the opinions of all the masters of all seminars, and nine people got the opportunity to publish an author's book. Rarely, but it happens that the winners are not known in advance. This is our case. Surprise on faces, smiles, a trembling voice at the award ceremony, wobbly knees. History was being made right before our eyes. And after that... We went to our regions to describe and recreate contemporary reality through the prism of our attitudes in our works. What for? Who if not us? When, if not now? - Anastasia Anisimova comments.
