Are you well acquainted with female poets of the 20^th century? We bet there are still plenty of talented creators to discover even for an expert. It’s high time to get inspired and learn more about female voices in poetry - Ulyanovsk UNESCO City of Literature program invites you to attend Female Voices of Silver Age Poetry Night. It will take place on the 28^th of July at 7PM at the library №17, Verkhnepolevaya st. 15a.

Participants will learn about Margarita Aliger, Natalia Astafieva, Sofia Parnok, Nadezhda Teffi, Rimma Kazakova, Vera Gedroits, Vera Rudich, Vera Arens, Elizaveta Polonskaya and Bella Akhmadulina. At the poetry night, we will discuss poetesses’ biographies and read their most famous works.

The poetry will be read to you by females of various background:

Perelyotnaya festival manager Liana Velichko, Wella studio stylist and colorist Elena Renzhina, director and head of the Sunday Theater Studio Ekaterina Yaheeva, fitness instructor and head of GraniClub Elena Batova, graphic designer Yana Soulstamina, young poet Polina Nikolaeva, transformational psychologist and coach tracker Svetlana Puzan, image stylist Natalya Ryzhikova, DJ Olga Voskresenskaya and translator Vlada Solntseva.
