On August 1, Elena Novichkova and Polina Nikolaeva, members of the directorate "Ulyanovsk-UNESCO City of Literature", took part as experts in a literary art residence in Izmailovo.

The program of the residence on August 1 included a master class on illustration in patchwork technique by Natalia Lyadova, a brief excursion into the activities of the Ulyanovsk-UNESCO City of Literature program and a motivational lecture by Elena Novichkova, as well as a presentation of poems by the young poet Polina Nikolaeva. As a keepsake from the directorate of the program "Ulyanovsk-UNESCO City of Literature" the creative space in Izmailovo was presented with a travel sketchbook based on the work of I.A. Goncharov's "Frigate Pallada".

Art residences in Izmailovo are new acquaintances, communication and a creative atmosphere. I recommend everyone to visit this place.
