As part of the "Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia", declared by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the program "Ulyanovsk - UNESCO City of Literature" organizes an exhibition of photographs. The theme of the exhibition is "Contemporaries' view of the UNESCO City of Literature". The main goal of the exhibition is to popularize information about the literary heritage of the city of Ulyanovsk among the population through photography.
Residents of the city of Ulyanovsk aged 14 years and older can take part in the exhibition. Each participant can submit no more than 5 photographs to the exhibition. Photos can be taken at different time periods, at different times of the year.
Based on the results of the competitive selection, 17 photographs will be selected. The exhibition itself will be held as part of the celebration of the City Day, on September 11, 2022, on Cathedral Square in Ulyanovsk.
