Alexander DASHKO

(b. 10/26/1994)

Alexander Dashko was born in Ulyanovsk. He studied at the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University named after I.N. Ulyanov at the Faculty of History and Philology. He has been writing poetry since childhood.
In 2011 he became a laureate of the All-Russian Youth Literary Competition "Mtsyri". Winner of the regional competition of professional skills among young cultural workers "Oblomov apple". Laureate of the N.N. Blagov (2017). Works at the Palace of the Book - Ulyanovsk Regional Scientific Library named after V.I. Lenin. Alexander Dashko published in various literary magazines, including Karamzinsky Garden, Simbirsk, Literary Lighthouse (Vologda), Yenisei Writer (Krasnoyarsk) and others. The poems of the young poet were also included in the anthology "Ulyanovsk literature: the beginning of the XXI century."
Alexander is the chairman of the Council of Young Writers of the Ulyanovsk Region and a member of the Writers' Union of Russia. He is actively working with the creative youth of the city and the region.
