
From April 19 to April 25, the Philosophical Book Week takes place in Ulyanovsk. One of the events of the week will be a creative meeting with the Russian writer and literary critic Bulat Khanov in the library No. V.V. Rozanov.
2021 has been declared the Year of the Book in the Ulyanovsk Region. The main regional project of this year is the Bookmania 2021 project.
The problems that the young author faces are the main thesis of Bulat Khanov at this meeting. The writer graduated from Kazan Federal University in 2013 with a degree in Philology. Russian language and literature in interethnic communication. In 2016 he defended his PhD thesis. He worked as a teacher of Russian language and literature in a secondary school. Published in the magazines "Friendship of Peoples" and "October", in the online publications "Literratura" and "Textura". In 2018, he won the Lyceum and Star Ticket awards. Finalist of the National Best 2020 award and laureate of the Russian Rhymes and Russian Word awards.
In 2019, the Eksmo publishing house published Bulat Khanov's novel Anger. In the same year, his story "Hugo" was included in the collection "The Bird Market", which also included texts by Evgeny Vodolazkin, Alexei Salnikov, Narine Abgaryan, Dmitry Vodennikov and other writers.
In 2020, the author’s new novel, Entertainment for Birds with Clipped Wings, was published, the presentation of which will take place as part of a creative meeting in the library No. V.V. Rozanova on April 22 at 18.30 (Narimanov Ave., 106 (stop "Tsiolkovsky Street").
The event will be held subject to sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
