On February 27, the second meeting was held at the Palace of the Book as part of the Wonderful World project. The topic of the meeting was set by the International Day of Language. The project participants, children from orphanages and rehabilitation centers in Ulyanovsk, shared what language they consider their native language and what they see as its beauty. The children also talked about who they dream of becoming in the future and what professions they are interested in.

Pupils of orphanages "House of Childhood", "Nightingale Grove" and "Nest" got acquainted with the department of rare books, visited the book depository and at the art exhibition of students of creative specialties "Spring. View". On this day, the children took part in a 3-hour intellectual program on the territory of the library, which gave them new discoveries and knowledge in the field of culture and art. Volunteers of the Ulyanovsk Pedagogical College and the Gift of Fate charity project accompanied the children on excursions. For students, this work has become a new experience and an opportunity for a little teaching practice.

Exhibition "Spring. View"

An important part of the meeting was a creative master class from Ulyanovsk artist Anton Lazarev. Under the guidance of an experienced teacher and artist, the participants of the project got acquainted with the technique of "graphic illustration" using the example of the image of Goncharov's House.
