In Ulyanovsk, the August issue of the local history literary magazine "Monomakh" was published. The theme of the release: "125 years of the Simbirsk provincial scientific archival commission and the main museums of the region."

"How many times during the years of work at Monomakh I admired the selflessness of Simbirsk collectors, historians and art historians during the years of revolutionary storms. Thanks to them, our regional museums - Local Lore and Art Museums - have unique funds. Monomakh No. 4-2020 is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the Simbirsk the provincial archival commission - it gave life to our main museums," notes Olga Sheipak, editor of the magazine.

Vyacheslav Egorov, Chairman of the Historical and Archival Commission of the Ulyanovsk Region, continues the theme: “This is especially important now, when the passage of time has unusually accelerated ... Genuine historical artifacts help us navigate the historical space and correctly interpret certain events.”
