On holding a teleconference between Russia and Brazil

On May 24, a teleconference was held with students and teachers of the University of Brazil and representatives of the international organization Global Youth Parliament Brazil.

The event was also attended by the head of the program "Ulyanovsk - UNESCO City of Literature" Natalya Dashuk, teachers of Ulyanovsk State University: Natalya Krasheninnikova, Director of the Institute of International Relations, Yulia Moiseeva, Dean of the International Faculty, Irina Sokolova, Head of the Department of English Linguistics and Translation, Elena Platonova , Associate Professor of the Department of English for Professional Activities, Galina Zemlyanikina, Senior Lecturer of the Department of English Linguistics and Translation, Olga Vlasova, Senior Inspector of the Dean’s Office of the International Faculty, 2nd and 3rd year students of the Faculty of Linguistics, Intercultural Relations and Professional Communication, 2nd year students of the International Faculty, Advisor Minister of Art and Cultural Policy of the Ulyanovsk Region Alexander Dashko.

 

The issue of cooperation between countries on cultural issues was considered. The meeting was also devoted to Russian culture and its place in world history. It is symbolic that this meeting took place on the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture. Representatives of the region gladly told their Brazilian colleagues about Ulyanovsk, about their activities and invited them to cooperation and joint, even if so far virtual, projects.

The Ulyanovsk - UNESCO City of Literature program thanks Ulyanovsk State University for its assistance in organizing the first teleconference between friendly countries.
