From May 25 to May 27, Ulyanovsk libraries invite readers to take part in the My Library online campaign. It is dedicated to the All-Russian Day of Libraries, which is celebrated on May 27. May 27 is the date of foundation of the first state public library in Russia - the Imperial Public Library, which now bears the name of the Russian National Library.
The organizer of the online action - the Centralized Library System of Ulyanovsk - invites readers to support each other in this difficult time: tell about why they love their library; interesting stories during the visit to the library; what role did the library play in their lives; what skills library users have acquired; what made it particularly useful, and so on.
To become a member, you must:
- record a video where you or your child talk about your favorite library or librarian (no more than 3-4 minutes for the VKontakte social network and no more than 2 minutes for the Twitter social network);
– send the video to the e-mail of your library or to the library of your choice (library addresses can be found at: http://www.mukcbs.org/le).
The videos sent will be posted on the pages of Ulyanovsk libraries on the social networks VKontakte and Twitter with the hashtag #All-RussianDay of Libraries.
