On July 1, Subrat Das, the Minister of Education and CW of the Indian Embassy in Russia visited Ulyanovsk.
The program of the Minister’s stay in Ulyanovsk included the graduation ceremony for the UlSU students from India, tours around the city, meetings with the regional administration and the heads of the university as well as exchange of best practices in the field of cultural cooperation and social adaptation.
Today, at the Creative Industries Fund of the Ulyanovsk Region, under the leadership of Vadim Ivanovich Andreev, the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Ulyanovsk region, a conversation took place about the prospects for the development of friendly ties between Russia and India. The participants discussed the events where Indian youth studying in our city are already taking part as well as work in international projects, including BRICS countries.
The prospects for cooperation were also discussed. Among the participants of the meeting were Jitendra Kumar, the director of the Medi Care Global Education Agency, Diana Kovela, the Program Director for Russia-BRICS International Cooperation Program, and Elena Cherkas, the Head of the Ulyanovsk UNESCO City of Literature Directorate.
