A new meeting of the literary studio "Eight" will be held online. This time, the moderator of the studio - the poet, translator and journalist Sergei Gogin - invites you to discuss Brodsky's long poems.
Why did Brodsky revive "great poems"? What is the essence of poetic redundancy? Or is there no redundancy, and everything written is necessary? These and other questions will be discussed online. Anyone can participate.
The meeting will be held on the Zoom platform on June 18, at 18.30 (Moscow time at 17.30).
