The Directorate of the program "Ulyanovsk - UNESCO City of Literature", the Directorate of the program "Night Mayor's Office" and UlyanovskElectroTrans invite you to the annual night "LiteraTour". This is not only an opportunity to make a night journey into the world of modern poetry and prose, but also a unique chance to be in the company of people of completely different professions, but united by participation in the literary tram.

This year we are celebrating the 210th anniversary of the Russian writer Ivan Aleksandrovich Goncharov. In the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, the name of our city Ulyanovsk represents the work of Ivan Alexandrovich Goncharov.

During a 2-hour trip, passengers on a literary flight will hear poems by more than 20 Ulyanovsk poets. Among them are poems by Elena Kuvshinnikova, editor of the Simbirsk magazine, and Alexander Dashko, a member of the Writers' Union of Russia. The program includes poems by young students Vlada Mitrofanova and Polina Nikolaeva and participants in international competition programs. Graphic designer Jana Soulstamina will also present her poetry.

The readers will be special guests, in particular, journalist, photographer and poet Igor Ulitin, film director Vladimir Buchinsky and sports commentator Mikhail Rossoshansky.

Also, everyone will be able to read excerpts from their favorite poems, as well as from collections of young authors from Ulyanovsk, in an open microphone format.

The special flight starts on June 17 at 21:00 from the Lights of the North stop.
