
On May 13, the Book Palace in Ulyanovsk invites everyone to a creative meeting with the famous Russian illustrator Igor Oleinikov.
Igor Oleinikov is a Soviet and Russian illustrator, production designer for animated films. Laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of culture, laureate of the Kh.K. Andersen.
From 1979 to 1990, Igor Oleinikov worked at the Soyuzmultfilm film studio. Participated in the creation of such films as "The Secret of the Third Planet", "Once upon a time there was a dog", "Travel of the ant", "Martynko". Simultaneously with his work in animation, he drew illustrations for children's periodicals (magazines "Misha", "Tram", "A bunch of small", "Sesame Street") and books. In 2008, he retired from animation and has worked only as an illustrator ever since.
For 30 years, Igor Oleinikov has illustrated more than 80 books. Among them are "The Nose" by N. V. Gogol, "The Mouse Mahalia Goes to College" by J. Lithgow, "The Adventures of the Mouse Despero" by C. DiCamillo, "The Ballad of a Little Tugboat" by I. Brodsky, "Everyone Runs, Flys and Jumps" D Kharms, "Tales of Uncle Remus" by D. C. Harris, "King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table" by D. Knowles, "Pushkin's Tales" by G. Gilbert.
