Ulyanovsk UNESCO City of Literature is happy to share the good news! On September 19, the “Pugachev in Simbirsk: history and myths” city tour dedicated to the 190th anniversary of Pushkin’s visit to Simbirsk was held again.
The history of our city is incredible. Students of the lyceum № 38 enjoyed their trip through the historical center of Ulyanovsk-Simbirsk.
The children got acquainted with the history of the Pugachev uprising, and also learned many interesting facts about Alexander Pushkin’s stay in Simbirsk. The great poet visited our city to study the history of the Emelyan Pugachev uprising.
The project is implemented with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
The organizers of the project: Ulyanovsk UNESCO City of Literature, the Ulyanovsk Regional Art Museum and the “Center for Development and Support of Creative Projects “Simbirsk” Autonomous Non-profit Organization.
