The route is dedicated to Alexander Pushkin - 190 years ago, the great poet visited Simbirsk to study the history of the Pugachev uprising.

Who did Pushkin meet in Simbirsk? What did Simbirsk residents treat the great poet to? Participants will learn many facts and myths about Pushkin’s stay in our city and visit key sights.

A professional guide will tell you about the poet’s meetings with famous  people of Simbirsk - with Governor Zagryazhsky, with the Yazykov brothers, etc., as well as about the gastronomic features of Simbirsk in the 19th century, because magnificent celebrations were organized in honor of the arrival of Alexander Pushkin.

Route of the tour: literary museum "House of Yazykovs" - Karamzin Square - Esplanade, where the Governor's Palace stood - Volga embankment - Theater Square - Cadet Corps.

*Tour option does not include tasting.
