What did the Simbirsk residents treat Alexander Pushkin to 190 years ago? Which of the Simbirians was the great poet friends with? And what are the legends  about his stay in  our city?

Participants of the “This is Pushkin!” creative city tour learned about this and much more on September 20. Students of the "Dar" Simbirsk gymnasium named after Alexander Nevsky took part in the event.

The children enjoyed the tour through the historical part of Ulyanovsk, learned who Alexander Sergeevich was friends with and with whom he was related. We “met” the poet Nikolai Yazykov and the daughter of the Simbirsk governor Elizaveta Zagryazhskaya, who shared their memories of their meeting with Pushkin.
