On April 29, the festival of creative industries of the Ulyanovsk region was held
04.05.2022

On April 29, the festival of creative industries of the Ulyanovsk region was held. This event is part of the I International ART-Residence of creative industries. The Aquamall shopping and entertainment center acted as its platform. "Ulyanovsk-Literary City of UNESCO" took part in this grandiose event.

The results of the work of seven directions of the I International ART-Residence of Creative Industries were summed up at the Festival. The curators and participants of the directions presented to the audience the products that they had been actively working on over the past week.

A fair-exhibition of crafts of the Ulyanovsk region was held in the atriums of the mall. More than 30 craftsmen from Ulyanovsk and regions of the region presented their works. Among the participants were jewelers, manufacturers of soft toys, souvenirs, wooden and forged products.

As part of the cultural program, with the support of the directorate "Ulyanovsk - UNESCO City of Literature", a collection of the ethno-brand "Hope&Betty" was presented in collaboration with tailor Isabella Uzalukova, jeweler "Iva Ge" and masters of the creative association "Zhuravl".

Inspired by the famous work of fellow countryman Aksakov S.T. "Scarlet Flower", the creators of the collection conveyed their vision of Russian folk sundresses in a modern design. Through the presence of jewelry made of metal and semi-precious stones, the dynamics of the modern world was emphasized, and with the help of beads and woven belts, a bias towards the Volga traditional ornaments was traced.

The presentation of the collection was accompanied by the song "My Land" performed by singer Queen Tandeka and vocalist Elena Podrezova. It is significant that the song under which the show was held was not chosen by chance, but rather precisely in order to show that our land is one and we must love it and each other, create and create together and enjoy the beauty of this world as a whole.

Musical accompaniment was provided by guitarist Tikhonov Vlad, student of Ulyanovsk College of Culture and Art. The Ulyanovsk dance group "Upgrade" supplemented the performance of the rest of the participants. Clothes and jewelry were demonstrated by girls from the Perfection modeling agency.

The collection has become a significant and memorable event of the festival.

This is a vivid example of how UNESCO creative cities cooperate with representatives of various creative industries of the city, manifesting themselves through fashion, music, cinema, fine arts, architecture and urbanism, IT - mobile development.

Participation in events of such a plan is an indicator that Ulyanovsk is uniting the network of UNESCO cities, thereby denoting and emphasizing its active position.
