On September 28, a coworking space for writers, Literary Hall, was opened in Ulyanovsk, where authors can not only work and discuss projects with colleagues, but also get online with writers, translators from different countries, or hold an event. In addition, the space will become a presentation platform for the literary sphere of the region and international projects of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

The coworking space was opened within the framework of the International Cultural Forum in Ulyanovsk. The working platform for writers is located on the 3rd floor of the Palace of Books.

In 2018, Dunedin launched the free Dtour app, which takes the user to places related to literature, briefly describes the life and work of a particular writer, and also shares excerpts from texts to encourage the user to explore the works deeper. The application is periodically updated, the next step is the introduction of information about 50 more authors.

Literary coworking will work in a free mode, explained in the directorate of the program "Ulyanovsk - UNESCO City of Literature." Soon, computers, equipment for presentations, literary events and online sessions with colleagues from different countries will appear here. There is also a wall map of UNESCO creative cities, a literary map of Ulyanovsk, a library with materials about literary projects from different countries, books by local and foreign writers. For events and writing in a literary coworking space, please call 44-30-85 to the Department of Literature in Foreign Languages of the Palace of Books (Svetlana, Anton).ё

Letters of thanks were presented to the Ulyanovsk branch of PJSC Rostelecom, the Leroy Merlin building store and the Simbirsk hotel, which became the owner of the sign “Partner of the Ulyanovsk - UNESCO City of Literature” program.
