On June 21, the Literary tram passed through Ulyanovsk. For the fourth time, citizens traveled around the city at night and listened to texts by writers from the UNESCO Cities of Literature. A lot of people gathered, and two trams went on a literary tour.

The event was organized by the Directorate of the program "Ulyanovsk - UNESCO City of Literature" together with the Department of Culture of the city, "Ulyanovskeletrotrans" and the Centralized Library System. Each passenger was given a special ticket for the Literary Tram.

This year littrams read works from Utrecht, Barcelona, ​​Melbourne, Nottingham, Ljubljana, Dunedin, Coburg and Ulyanovsk. Passengers heard fragments of works performed by Elena Toporkova, Head of the Department of Culture of the Administration of Ulyanovsk, Dmitry Aksyonov, artistic director of the ENFANT-TERRIBLE theater-studio, Elena Domashevskaya, PR director of DARS, and Anton Nikitin, TV presenter of Russia 1 and Russia 24 channels in Ulyanovsk. The surprise was the poems of the surrealist poet from the Canadian Coburg Stuart Ross read by the actress of the Ulyanovsk Youth Theater Evgenia Timchenko. In addition, philologist and editor Natalia Shatskova performed a poem by the author from Dunedin, New Zealand, David Howard, who will be a guest of the writer's residence in Ulyanovsk in September.
