On January 26, 2021, creative youth of Ulyanovsk gathered in the modern, cozy coworking space of the model library No. 17 "Sodruzhestvo" at the literary home concert "Test Day": young writers, musicians, bards. In an informal setting and in a team of soulmates, young people read author's poems, sang to the guitar and recalled the wonderful time of their student days.

On January 25, the whole country celebrated the Russian Students Day. Each of us was a student: went to lectures, prepared for exams and wrote cheat sheets. Therefore, the key topic of the home concert was the students.

During the evening the young people shared colorful stories of their student life and even managed to relive the feeling of excitement, as at the exam. During the literary quiz, everyone pulled a ticket and guessed the title and the author of the work by a line. The owner of the lucky ticket received as a gift a travel sketchbook based on the book by I.A. Goncharov "Frigate Pallada".

Alexander Dashko, Chairman of the Council of Young Writers, presented the collection of young writers of Ulyanovsk region "The Image of the Word" to the guests of the evening. It includes the works of 20 young Ulyanovsk poets and prose writers - Artem Dallakian, Vlada Mitrofanova, Victoria Sheiko and others. Alexander donated 40 copies of books to the city libraries. Very soon the books will appear on the shelves of libraries.

In a circle of friends, young writers - Artem Dallakyan, Vlada Mitrofanova, Victoria Varfolomeeva, Anisia Matlina - read their poems. Someone presented completely new, unpublished poems, someone - already beloved by the reader. Bards and musicians - Sergey Kochetkov, a young performer Vladislav Tikhonov, Antonina Bezrukova performed soulful songs to the guitar.

Natalia Dashuk, the head of Ulyanovsk UNESCO City of Literature program, told about how talented young people can reach the international level. New projects, opportunities, acquaintances – all this is Ulyanovsk UNESCO City of Literature program.
