Adaptation of Foreign Students Project
The project started with the visit of Dr. Kumar Dharmendra, the representative of the "New Era.Education" Educational Institute, to Ulyanovsk, during which a meeting was held with V.I. Andreev, the First Deputy Head of the City, I.B. Mitrofanova, Deputy Head of the City , heads of structural divisions of the Ulyanovsk city Administration, E.E. Cherkas, Head of the Ulyanovsk UNESCO City of Literature Directorate, and the student activists of Ulyanovsk State University.
The First Deputy Head of the City tasked to organize work on the adaptation of foreign students. Subsequently, this assignment was embodied in a project concerning Ulyanovsk State University students from India, as well as young people from Egypt, Yemen, Uganda, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and other countries.
Over 3,000 foreign students are getting a degree at 5 universities of Ulyanovsk - Ulyanovsk State University, Ulyanovsk State Technical University, Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University named after. I.N.Ulyanov, UIGA, UlSAU.
Our task is to integrate foreign students into interethnic and cultural dialogue to strengthen friendships and create an image of Russia as a hospitable country.
